Brushed DC Motors

Permanent magnet direct current motors, commonly known as DC motors or brushed motors, are widely used in applications requiring reliable and cost-effective motion solutions.

Each DC motor is manufactured through a fully or semi-fully automated assembly process, ensuring consistent quality and flexibility. This approach allows for customization of key elements such as shaft configurations, wiring options, and mounting flanges, while maintaining high standards of reliability and competitive performance.

To simplify product selection, the DC motor range is organized into subcategories based on the external stator diameter.

Within each category, motors are further differentiated by technical specifications, including standard or enhanced versions, as well as the optional integration of Hall sensors.

Brushless DC Motors

Electro-Parts has over 20 years of experience in the development and manufacturing of BLDC motors.

In the past, brushless solutions were mainly used for niche applications, while brushed technologies supported higher production volumes and company growth.

Today, the market is rapidly shifting. Demand for BLDC motors is increasing, driven by both customers and global trends.

Electro-Parts is responding by strengthening its focus on brushless technologies.

We already offer a broad portfolio of in-runner and out-runner solutions, covering 45 W to 7 kW and 12 to 96 V.

Our motors are available with either ferrite or rare-earth magnets, selected to meet specific requirements in terms of performance, size, and weight. Permanent magnet technology ensures high efficiency and excellent dynamic performance.

When equipped with an encoder, BLDC motors can also provide precise positioning control.

Frameless motors consist of a wound stator and a separate permanent magnet rotor, designed to be directly integrated into the final application.

By eliminating the need for housings, bearings, and other components typical of traditional servo motors, frameless solutions enable the design of more compact and lightweight motion systems.

Electro-Parts frameless motors deliver industry-leading torque density, precision, and efficiency in an extremely compact package.

Our development process

Every custom motor project starts with a technical request. We gather essential information regarding performance targets, operating conditions, lifecycle expectations, and other necessary requirements.

Our engineering team evaluates technical feasibility, considering materials, components, space constraints, compliance standards, and performance objectives. This step is crucial to ensure that the motor meets all technical and economic specifications.

After design approval, we manufacture a functional prototype to validate performance and system integration.

Electro-Parts operates a fully equipped internal prototype workshop, allowing rapid production of components before serial tooling is available. We can produce laminations, mechanical housings, and other critical parts to support early testing and validation together with the customer.

The prototype is shared with the customer for joint evaluation.

Performance data is analyzed and, if necessary, adjustments are implemented to optimize the motor according to application-specific requirements.

Following prototype validation and pre-series production testing, the project proceeds to mass production.

Once the project is validated, the motor enters serial production.

Each unit is manufactured under strict quality control procedures to ensure reliability, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
